YOUNG AND BROKE but wanting to travel? Here are some ways to help you.
Once in a while you deserve a little wanderlust.
Quite hard if you think of it and it needs a lot of effort but it's just a matter of self discipline and focusing on your travel goals. 😜 Are you familiar with SMART philosophy? It has been used to measure employees' productivity in most companies and it's very much popular in Nursing. Right Nurses? but we're not here to talk about work we are here to set goals for our ULTIMATE TRAVEL. 👌🏻 So let's start discussing each process and how it can help us towards our goals.
BTW you can also use this not just for saving for your travel but also for saving for your future.
Let's begin! 🤗
SMART Specific: this answers the question "what do I want to achieve?" This sets your goals and describes your end result. What are your ULTIMATE TRAVEL GOALS? WHY ARE THESE GOALS IMPORTANT? Write it down.
Measurable: It is important for us to be able to measure our goals for us to keep motivated and track our progress. Measurable answers the questions, "how will you know if you've already met the expectations?" Were you able to achieve the amount of money you are saving for?? Were you able to go to your destination?? Or were you able to achieve your goals??
Achievable: Our goals need to be achievable and realistic. answers the questions "can I do it?" Can it be done in this time frame? Is it doable? "Of course it is!!."
Relevance: this will determine the purpose of why you are doing it. This determines how important your goal is. "Why are you traveling?", "Why are you saving money?", "Am I doing the right thing?"
Time bound: In every goal it needs a target date, it needs a deadline so you can work towards it. This answers when will it be done? What can I do 3 months from now? When should I start saving? There should be a specific time frame as to how long you will save money for your travel, you can't do it for the rest of your life. 😉
I was able to list down some ways I tried just to save money for my travel. It was never easy, I'm telling you, but it's worth the try. 😃

13 WAYS HOW TO SAVE MONEY FOR TRAVEL. 1. COMMIT TO YOUR GOALS
Just like in a relationship you need to give your 101% for you to achieve your goals and for you to be able to work it out. There's no shortcut in saving money unless you ask money from your parents.

11. QUIT SMOKING, IF YOU CAN'T THEN LESSEN IT!
I've been smoking for years and I know it's not that easy to just quit, this is my stress reliever due to the nature of the job I'm into, but it's just Mind over matter. You might be thinking it's easier said than done but hell no. You can do it. Yes you can! Always tell your self you can quit smoking. Think of the money you can save in a year if you quit smoking and mind you! Not just the money. You need to be healthy while traveling. Right? 😉
