TAAL BATANGAS is well known for its old ancestral houses and having the biggest church in Philippines and Asia. I’ve been traveling alone for quite some time and these past two years I’ve met someone who made me discover how wandering can be more enjoyable. 🤗
One weekend we decided to pack our bags and booked a room near TAAL, BATANGAS. Here’s our Quick Travel Guide to TAAL, BATANGAS: We travelled on Sunday, meaning it’s less traffic 😉 7:30 am: ETD (took SLEX-Calamba Exit) 11:30 am: ETA (parked near the church & had a lunch in lomi house just in front of Minor Basilica) 12:00 pm: We roam around Taal 12:30 pm: Visited Galleria Taal Camera Museum 1:30 pm: Lunch 4:00 pm: ETA going to Zen Room Hotel in Tagaytay (Free Breakfast for 2) This is just a spontaneous travel, we were unable to strictly follow our planned IT. GALLERIA TAAL CAMERA MUSEUM
If you look outside the house you’ll think it’s just one of the ancestral houses. Once you open the door, it feels like you’re traveling back in time. Almost all cameras, no matter how ancient are preserved and working. Kudos to the Museum guide. No time wasted while touring around.
JUST A TIP! On the museum’s basement is a small restaurant, serving affordable Taal delicacies. Don’t miss this. 👌🏽
TAKOMAGI RAMEN IN TAGAYTAY
Takomagi's takoyaki is one of Tagaytay's hidden treasures. For such an affordable price, it was a surprise how delicious their octo-balls are. It's a chill and homely ramen house who can make your food trip around Tagaytay much more memorable.
